Among the hundreds of models created by Manufacturas Muela throughout its more than 60 years of history, several stand out for having become emblematic pieces.
Hunting knives hold an undeniable prominence in our production, with finishing knives being among the most appreciated and distinctive. These are knives designed for the finishing of big game pieces, when the hunter must dispense with his firearm due to the risk of injuring the dogs that even put their lives at stake to catch deer and wild boars.
And most of the dogs involved in these pursuits are podencos, a breed that originated in ancient Egypt and has branched out into different varieties, always depending on their use in hunting.
Dogs are fundamental in the Spanish Montería, but no less important is the one in charge of training and directing them, the podenquero who knows how to beat the monte to get the game, and to whom Muela now renews its homage with a luxury model that marks the 25th anniversary of the first Podenquero knife in our catalog.
