Cold Steel Leatherneck-SF Tactical Knife
The Leatherneck®-SF Knife features a beautifully ground clip point blade with a satin finish. The Leathernecks® blade is coated with a non-reflective black powder layer. The handles are made of Kray-Ex™ material, providing an unmatched grip through its oval cross-section that embraces the palm and its exclusive finger channel. They are topped with a thick, machined steel guard (not cheap cast or plastic like others), allowing them to also function as a hammer in emergency situations. Includes Secure-Ex® sheath.
To prevent fingers from slipping forward onto the sharp edge, the Leathernecks® come with a solid steel top guard. It is made of thick steel with double quillons that slightly curve forward, providing excellent hand protection while minimally interfering with utility tasks performed with these knives.

The word Leatherneck has become synonymous with the famous U.S. Marines. Since 1776, when Congress required all Marines to wear a thick, high leather collar (known colloquially at the time as a stock). This collar served two purposes: first, to help protect the neck from sword and cutlass blows; second, to compel a Marine to keep his head held high, displaying the military posture that was fashionable at the time.
It is to these Marines that Cold Steel dedicates this series of fixed blades, ready for combat, with two distinct styles of blade and iconic designs, which have proven to be exceptionally popular with the U.S. armed forces. Both are made of D2 tool steel, a resistant and durable air-hardened tool steel that offers good corrosion resistance. This steel has been used for decades by factories and custom makers to produce durable outdoor and hunting knives.
To safely and conveniently carry the Leatherneck® knives in all environments, each comes with a durable, versatile military-style Secure-Ex® sheath with a fully removable and ambidextrous belt clip.
